Update: Cresswell Road without water again

Cresswell Road residents are upset, as they are without water yet again.

The street has been without water since Thursday last week and finally came back on yesterday afternoon at about 2.30pm.

This morning, there was no water again. They say they did not have hot water and all that came out of the taps was a cupful.

When uThukela was initially contacted, they said they were aware of the problem and that it was caused by a tree that fell onto electrical wiring. They further said they were unable to provide a water tanker to the area.

At the time of going to press, uThukela had failed to comment further.
