THE WOMEN of Vryheid were challenged to invest in themselves when Nadine Pillay of H.O.P.E Wellness and Development, a local wellness consultancy, recently hosted an exclusive Women’s Event at the beautiful Fusion House in Vryheid.
The workshop entitled “I AM GOLD”, was the second instalment in the “I Am… Women’s Empowerment Programme”.
The programme follows a strengths-based approach to assist women in harnessing their unique strengths effectively.
After an inspirational workshop, the ladies enjoyed a delicious high-tea, followed by a fashion show by Ikhiwane, an African-inspired fashion label, founded by LungileManyathi and Pamela Madide (also home-grown Vryheid talent).
It was an afternoon filled with thought-provoking conversation, delicious food and beautiful clothing.
