Vryheid Squash Club – Pancakes clinch top spot in league
The Vryheid Squash Club Championships are up next! These will start on Monday, October 5. If you are interested in playing, please write your name on the list, which is up on the board at the club.
THE Blitz Bazaar League has been completed and the winners have been crowned!
Well done to the Pancakes for winning the league. The Pancake team consisted of Kurt Spangenberg; Jurgen Meyer; John Kitching; Ignis Potgieter and Karlien van Rooyen.
The final standings were:
- Pancakes 46;
- Popcorn 45;
- Hamburgers 43;
- Melktertjies 39;
- Hotdogs 37;
- Jaffles 37;
- Koeksisters 37 and
- Doughnuts 34.
The league winners and completion of the league was celebrated with the real Bazaar on Tuesday, September 22. The members of the squash club enjoyed some of the Bazaar foods and had a great time.
