Vryheid Athletics Club – Walking for a cause

HERITAGE Day at the clubhouse was celebrated with a good number of braaiers and their families enjoying the public holiday.
The club commences on October 8 at 5:30pm for time trial run/walk and a bring and braai after. With the summer weather already here there is now no excuse not to come to the club run/walk and enjoy the social after.
On Monday, October 19, VAC is hosting the ‘Big Walk’ – 5km walk all happening from Pioneer High School sports field (entries open from 4pm) – R20 to enter with loads of prizes, tuckshop, boerewors rolls and bandanas but the main aim of this walk is to give back to the Sunflower fund. Save this date, join in the fun and support this very worthy cause while feeling good about it and the exercise you have done. Age and fitness level is of no importance but participating in the walk is.
