BREAKING NEWS: Sangoma vanishes during ritual

SAPS divers are searching for a sangoma who vanished into the Ingagane River a short while ago.

The young woman was allegedly undertaking a ritual at the time.

Emergency services have flocked to the scene in Madadeni Section 4, near a bridge behind ArcelorMittal‘s Newcastle Works.

Strong currents have made the search difficult.

Reporters are investigating and will update this story as more information becomes clear.
