A resident made the gruesome discovery of a mutilated puppy earlier today.
The puppy was described as ‘ripped to shreds’, and was transported to a local veterinarian for urgent medical treatment.
Sadly, the wounds were too grievous and the animal had to be euthanised.
The SPCA has vowed to take this matter further, and we will update this story as more information becomes available.
