Keeping the winter blues away

While heaters and electric blankets do help to keep the winter chills at bay, they do not keep the electricty bills away.

Dear Madam,

With winter in full swing, it is time that we start looking at cost efficient ways in keeping warm.

While heaters and electric blankets do help to keep the winter chills at bay, they do not keep the electricty bills away.

Instead of using electrical appliances to keep warm, let’s try and use more blankets. Fleece blankets are known to be extra warm, as are thick gowns.

Nice thick slippers can also help you keep warm, as the warmer your feet are, the less likely you are to get cold.

Another practical way to stay warm this winter is with a one piece pyjama suit. Yes, I know they look kind of goofy but why suffer with the bitter cold when you could curly up warmly in a onesie and warm cup of hot chocolate?

Let’s not forget that cuddling up with that someone special is another great way to keep warm this winter.

By using cost efficient ways to keep warm, we can always buy more coffee and good books to combat the winter blues.
