Hooked on Books was back to entertain learners from various schools in Estcourt.

I’m not sure who enjoys watching the talented actors bringing alive a variety of story and poetry books more – the teachers or the children! Excerpts from stories were acted out, and just as you began to settle into the story, the actors stopped.
The idea is to encourage the children to borrow the story books from the library and read the whole book.
It definitely showed the audience that reading can be fun.
