Our boys’ hockey team recently took part in a hockey tournament hosted by Nardini on the NRS sport fields.
The results were as follows (opponents scores first): against Huttenpark 1-0; St Dominics 5-0; Newcastle Senior Primary 2-0 and Michaelis 0-0. Congratulations to Kyle Crous, who was selected for the u/13 Zululand District team.
Fishing: Four of our learners took part in the Natal Freshwater Angling championships held at the Klipfontein Dam on April 11 and 12. They are Mthunzi Mkize; Cebo Mnguni; Ntokoza Mchunu and Lungelo Masondo. Congratulations to these boys on their results.
Rugby: The first team and the u/11 team took part in the Lucas Meyer Rugby Week during the school holiday. The results of the first team were as follows (NRS scores first): against Lucas Meyer A 17-7; Paulpietersburg 12-15; Gelofte 36-0 and Lucas Meyer B 31-5. The u/11 team had the following results (NRS scores first): against Paulpietersburg 29-0; Egerton 44-0; Lucas Meyer B 40-0 and Lucas Meyer A 7-14.
