iFani launches #1stDayGold campaign

True to form, Xhosa rap extraordinaire, iFani revealed new album artwork and details of his innovative #1stDayGold campaign to core fans and more than 6-million Twitter followers around the world on March 30, 2015.

During the exclusive Twitter session, he released his first single, Settle Down off the I Believes In Me [2nd Quadrant] and launched a unique album pre-order campaign.

“I would like fans to see I am never afraid to be myself. I’m on a quest to discover myself, by writing myself in the music,” said iFani. “This brand is all about dreamers who are willing to give all of themselves in making their dreams come true.”

iFani partnered with iTunes and Musica recently and will be celebrating the milestone with fans around the country, making special appearances in all nine provinces.

When pre-ordering the album digitally on iTunes from April 29, fans will receive exclusive tracks which will not be included on the actual album. Fans who opt to pre-order the album at Musica benefit from joining the #1stDayGold movement with an automatic price reduction. In addition, fans will stand a chance to win cash prizes to the value of R10 000.

“Beyond achieving #1stDayGold, I would love to fund creative individuals and other dreamers who are up for the challenges that come with turning their dreams to reality.”

Stakeholders predict iFani’s upcoming album will catapult into SA charts the same way his critically acclaimed debut album did. iFani’s comedic wit, lyrical ability and creative punch lines make for a mesmerising show, proving he is a cut above the rest.

“I use my music to describe the person I am. My music follows no set rules or guidelines coz none of those rules define me,” he concluded.
