Fun for all at church fête

The pancake stall was a favourite among most who wandered around the church grounds, in search of something freshly-baked to eat and maybe a few bargain buys as well

The All Saints Anglican Church held their annual fête on Saturday in Murchison Street to raise funds for the church. Stalls filled the grounds, with the smell of cooking food luring the hungry with hamburgers and other tasty treats to fill their tummies.

Hamilton Preparatory School’s Marimba Band entertained on the day, playing great music for all those who attended the event. The band even allowed children who wanted to play on the instruments an opportunity to shine in the spotlight.

The All Saints Mothers Union had their cake and cupcake stall, like they do every year. The pancake stall was a favourite among most who wandered around the church grounds, in search of something freshly-baked to eat and maybe a few bargain buys as well. A puppet show was enjoyed by the little ones, who were mesmerized by the funny antics of the animal puppets.

DJ Philip Holder played some great tunes throughout the day, adding to the entertainment on offer.

The church fête was enjoyed by young and old alike, as it had something for everyone.

The church would like to thank the community for their support, as well as the stall holders and Hamilton Prep.
