4 suspects arrested with stolen goods

Ezakheni police continue with their efforts to combat housebreaking cases

2 suspects were arrested on September 30 in possession of stolen items taken during a housebreaking earlier in the month.

The seized items, believed to have been stolen, are a double bed, amplifier, DVD player and speakers.

The suspects, both aged 23, appeared in the Ezakheni Magistrate’s Court on Thursday on charges of possession of suspected stolen property.

Ezakheni police continued with their efforts to combat housebreaking cases by arresting another 2 suspects for possession of suspected stolen property.

Acting on information received about a break-in at a school that happened during September, police swooped on a house in Ezakheni D-Section on October 2. Several items were stolen during the break-in.

The stolen items were being offered for sale.

2 suspects were arrested after some of the stolen goods were found in their possession.

The 2 suspects, aged 19 and 23, briefly appeared in the Ezakheni Magistrate’s Court on Monday.

They are set to appear in court again on October 22, facing charges of possession of suspected stolen property and possibly also housebreaking and theft.
