Madam – In the past month we had two hijackings and one attempted hijacking in Alice street, The Reeds – Centurion.
All 3 of these happened to our neighbours which lives across us, to the side and next to us. Everyone close to eachother. The hijackings always occurred at about 8-10 at night. And all of them was on a sunday. The most recent was on the 15th of Feb at exactly 9:15PM on Sunday.
Two shots were fired. (from the hijackers). We are not sure if this is the same people or maybe just a coincidence.
Unfortunately the victims was not familiar with the warnings that everyone should know , such as to not turn into your driveway when there is a car driving behind you. And this is what happened with all three victims.
In my experience it is better to turn into your driveway when you’re the only one in your street. I take every vehicle at night as a threat. Even in daylight. You are vulnerable if you are not vigilant and being careful.
