Breaking News: Prisoner escapes from custody

A male prisoner is currently on the run after managing to escape from prison wardens as they were taking him back to Correctional Services. The suspect appeared in court today.

The wardens were booking him back into prison when he made a break for it.

The escaped prisoner is considered to be dangerous and anyone who sees a man behaving suspiciously should immediately contact the police. No one should approach the man under any circumstances.

He is believed to be in the Carbineer Road area.
