They’re saving lives

Responding to the South African National Blood Service’s (SANBS) call for blood donations, these community members showed their bravery and gave the gift of life.

Responding to the South African National Blood Service’s (SANBS) call for blood donations, these community members showed their bravery and gave the gift of life.

Together Saartjie and Johnny Louw have given 229 units of blood, Johnny gave his 155th and Saartjie her 74th.

While Zivan Cronjé donated his 53rd unit of blood his son Zacko slept through the whole episode.

Roy Sutherland attended the Blood Bank's two-day clinic on Saturday and donated his 46th unit of blood.

Looking like it didn't hurt at all was Carina Pretorius who gave her 11th unit of blood, which will help to save the life of another.
