Help police find missing girls

Help us to reunite the two girls with their concerned families.

Ladysmith police are appealing to the public to assist them in locating two girls who have been reported missing by their families. The 2 girls are suspected to be in the Durban area, possibly Umlazi.

Slindile Zungu (17) and Lingile Masinga (18) were last seen by family members on Friday, August 14, when they left for school.

Slindile, also known as Sli, is described as being slightly overweight. She has short hair, brown eyes and a scar on her left eye. She was wearing a grey shirt and maroon trousers at the time of her disappearance. Sli is fluent in Zulu and English.

Lungile is described as being 1.6m tall with a slender build. She wears her hair in plaits and has brown eyes. She was also wearing a grey shirt and maroon trousers, and is fluent in Zulu and English.

Anyone who has seen or knows the whereabouts of these two girls is requested to contact the investigating officer, Constable Langa, at Ladysmith SAPS on 036-638-3353 during office hours or 072-042-7227.
