George wins monthly mug
It was lovely seeing all golfers challenging this event with stiff competition from Wilfie Laatz
On Saturday, September 3, 26 players teed off to play in the monthly mug sponsored by Lalparsad Inc. The podium positions on both the medal (stroke play) and stableford were:
First was George van Niekerk with nett 66.
Second on a count out was Gordon Chotu on 41 points with nett 67.
Third was Owen McLuckie on 41 points with nett 67.
Closest to the pin on number three was Johan Wagenaar.
Closest to the pin for two on number two was Phillip Boshoff.
Two club winners were Wilfie Laatz on number 16 and Dave Diedrick on number 12.
