Vryheid Bowling Club – Spring Tournament just around the corner

ON SATURDAY, August 23, our Men’s Club Singles were finalised. 
Congratulations to our Club Champion, Philip Scheepers. Well done to the Runner Up, Hogart Gevers. 
The Club Drawn Trips were played in the afternoon, with 24 Players competing. Ilva, Noellene and Nolan were the winners and Hannes, Jan and Estelle were the Runners Up. Well done, everyone!
This coming Saturday, the Cash ‘n Carry Pairs competition will take place. 
Our Spring Tournament is coming up on September 6 and 7. We need every member to help, as this is a major fundraiser for us.
The list of new club shirts is up on the notice board. Please place your orders as soon as possible.
Our prizegiving dinner will be held on September 19. Tickets are available at R100-00 per person. Please state on the list how many people will be attending for catering purposes.
Remember the AGM on September 24. Please put your nominations forward for the committee next year.
