St Gregory appoints new principal

Mr Jordaan has been teaching for 20 years and mostly in primary schools

St Gregory Primary School is very proud to announce that the new Principal has been appointed. Mr Leendert Jordaan will take up the position as Principal of St Gregory Primary School in January 2017.

Mr Jordaan is from Boksburg in Johannesburg and currently teaches at Martin Primary School. He has an Honours Degree in Education Management that he obtained through the University of Johannesburg. Mr Jordaan has been teaching for 20 years and mostly in primary schools.

He has taught a variety of subjects through his years of teaching and the school can confidently say that Mr Jordaan sets high standards for academics at any school he is affiliated with. Mr Jordaan is actively involved on the sport field and is currently a Provincial Hockey Umpire and an esteemed coach of a variety of sports.

He is actively involved in all spheres of school life and also serves on the school management team of his current school. Leendert is married to Angela and they have two sons, Jadin and Jonathan. Jadin received a scholarship at Michaelhouse and will start his high school career there in 2017. Jonathan will be in grade four next year and will join St Gregory.

Angela Jordaan has been a secretary at Strubenvale Primary School for the last 11 years. She has vast knowledge concerning secretarial duties and will take up the position as school secretary at St Gregory Primary School while Michelle Botha will be freed to be the full time bursar of our school.

St Gregory is very blessed to have such an experienced, educated, energetic and passionate principal starting at the school.
Mr Leendert Jordaan is going to make massive strides in the school and take the school to even greater heights!
