Brace yourself, rugby season is heating up

All rugby players are invited to join the team for practice on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays at Arbor Park Sports Grounds from 6pm.

With their eyes set on victory, Boschpick Newcastle Highlanders have started preparing for the 2015 season.

Andrè Swanepoel, head coach, said the first week of training that started on 5 January had a good turnout. “Altogether 38 players attended the first week, which is very pleasing. A few new players have also joined the club; at least six new guys have pitched.”

All rugby players are invited to join the team for practice on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays at Arbor Park Sports Grounds from 6pm.

The team will be going on a training camp on January 30 in Ingogo, with their families joining them.

Rugby trials will then be held on Friday, February 20.
