A man was shot and robbed last night (Friday) in Illing Road near the bus rank.
It is alleged that the man, between the age of 25 and 30 years old, was walking home from work in the industrial area when he was shot and robbed of R2000.
The man sustained 2 gunshot wounds, 1 to the chest and 1 in the leg.
The Ladysmith Dog (K9) Unit and Sharaj Ambulance Services responded to the scene.
The gunshot victim was stabilised at the scene and then rushed to hospital.
