Burnt dog in Centenary Road (Warning: Graphic Content)

The badly burnt carcass had been discarded in open veld

Mr and Mrs Ramsubak, together with their daughter Ashmita and her fiancé Quinton Gopie, were taking a walk yesterday (Sunday) afternoon when they spotted a dog that had been burned.

The badly burnt carcass had been discarded in open veld at the bottom of Centenary Road, Acaciavale.

Mr Ramsubak felt sick when he saw the dead, charred animal. Remains of the dog were everywhere.

“What is the reason for this kind of behaviour? If people’s pets die, can’t they just bury them?” said an upset Mr Ramsubak.
