Dressed in red for the night

Numerous Valentine's dances were held in town last night, all of them packed to capacity with star-crossed lovers

Valentine’s Day has come and gone, but those who went out to celebrate the occasion last night will surely have memories to treasure.

Numerous Valentine’s dances were held in town last night, all of them packed to capacity with star-crossed lovers.

Ladies and gents ‘dressed to the nines’ – mostly in red, white and pink – were surely not disappointed by the top-class musicians who provided the toe-tapping entertainment.

Acaciavale Primary School held their dance in the Civic Hall, while the Crown Hotel boasted popular Durban band ‘The Tyles’.

Slow ballads got the love birds into the groove, not forgetting the mouth-watering meals for patrons to enjoy.

What a night it was – love in the air, great music, and food fit for kings and queens!
