Head-on collision in Burger Street

A VW Polo and a taxi collided head-on in Burger Street on Tuesday afternoon. 

There were two occupants in the Polo and two occupants in the taxi, all sustaining minor injuries. Sharaj Ambulance Services treated the injured and transported them to hospital.

A large crowd of onlookers gathered to see what the commotion was about, while police and Public Safety took down the details of the crash. One lane was closed while police worked on the scene and clean-up operations were carried out. 

It took awhile before the scene was cleared and traffic could flow smoothly again.
