Nightingale Street in poor condition

A media enquiry was sent to the municipality's communication department on July 2, raising the resident's concerns. To date, no response has been received

Nightingale Street has been in a deplorable state for several months, and a section of the road is disintegrating.

With the new section of Draper Street officially complete and joining onto Nightingale Street, the road will definitely carry more traffic.

A Nightingale Street resident, who wished to remain anonymous, expressed his dismay about the disintegration of the road.

“It has been like this for a while, and motorists travelling in opposite directions often have to wait for each to pass before driving, as the damaged road can cause harm to cars,” he claimed.

A media enquiry was sent to the municipality’s communication department on July 2, raising the resident’s concerns. To date, no response has been received, despite another on September 18, more than two months later.
