Entrepreneurs Day shapes future businessmen and women

Pupils formed groups and once a business plan had been put in place, they had to go about planning and making provision for expenses, advertising, the setting up of stalls and ultimately, the selling of their goods.

On Tuesday, September 2, Grade 7 pupils from Newcastle Senior Primary School held an Entrepreneurs Day.

Sticking to the guidelines of the Economic and Management Sciences syllabus, pupils put their knowledge of business, creativity and talent to the test. Pupils formed groups and once a business plan had been put in place, they had to go about planning and making provision for expenses, advertising, the setting up of stalls and ultimately, the selling of their goods.

It turned out to be a great success and an important learning experience. Newcastle Senior Primary School thanked the rest of the school for supporting the Grade 7 pupils and making the day an even bigger success.
