Fedauto Newcastle take on the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

Staff of Fedauto Newcastle challenged owners, Tillie and Allen Kirkland, to participate in the global ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.
The ALS challenge dares nominated participants to be filmed having a bucket of ice water poured over their heads, and then challenge others to do the same in order to raise funds to fight Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
The couple valiantly accepted the challenge and donated R2 000 to help the fight against ALS.
They sat, wriggling in their seats, anxiously awaiting their frigid fate, as the staff readied the ice buckets. Staff stood on chairs behind them and emptied huge buckets of ice water over their heads.
Through chattering teeth and gasping for breath, Mrs Kirkland nominated Gerhard Visser from Lazarus Motors in Pretoria, Ben Pillay from Ford Motor Company and Mark Kaufman from Ford Motor Company.
“I also want to nominate Rob Crouse and Ryan Rider from Ford Motor Company and Ivan Hartley from SAP group Ballito ” challenged Mr Kirkland.
