A local detective attached to the Ladysmith Family Violence, Child Protection & Sexual Offences Unit (FCS) is appealing to the community for help.Â
Investigating officer Constable NR Mazibuko needs help in tracing the whereabouts of the four men depicted in police identikits (see above photos). The men are believed to be in a position to shed light on rape cases that have occurred in the Ladysmith area.Â
The individual in the identikit labelled ‘Figure 1’ is described as being in his late 20s. He is of medium complexion, medium build and is about 1.75m tall. He is being sought in connection with a rape case that happened in the Hyde Park area in September.Â
The individual in the identikit labelled ‘Figure 2’ is described as also being in his mid-20s. He has a dark complexion, a slender build and is about 1.8m tall. He has pimples on his face. He is sought in connection with a rape case that also occurred in September, this time in the Hobsland area.Â
The individual in the identikit labelled ‘Figure 3’ is in his 20s, has a dark complexion, a slender build and is about 1.65m tall. He is sought in connection with a rape case that occurred in August in the Acaciavale area.Â
The individual in the identikit labelled ‘Figure 4’ is in his early 30s, has a dark complexion, a medium build and is about 1.65m tall. He wears short dreadlocks. He is sought in connection with a rape case that occurred in September in Ladysmith.Â
