The big NG Bergsig bazaar

The bazaar committee also invites the community to enter the photo competition with any one of the following two themes Newcastle 150 years and Celebrations.

The Dutch Reformed Bergsig Church will be hosting its annual Bazaar on Saturday, August 23 at the Newcastle Show Grounds.

Reverend Gawie van Jaarsveld promises the bazaar committee will cater for all age groups and entrance will be free.

An interesting new stall will be that of a photographer, who will be take family photos at very reasonable rates.

The bazaar committee also invites the community to enter the photo competition with any one of the following two themes Newcastle 150 years and Celebrations.

Bring your photos to the Competition stand on Saturday morning at 9.30am to stand a chance to win big prizes. Parents with babies are also invited to enter their baby for the Baby Competition.

It’s not just about photo’s but also about buying traditional bazaar food. The regular vetkoek, pancake, wors rolls and other food will be on sale.

Koeksisters, milk tart, cakes and traditional bazaar dessert will also be on sale, for those among us with a sweet tooth.

Children will be treated to traditional games and a special milkshake cafe will be set up for them.

One thing is for sure , do not miss out on this big bazaar on Saturday!
