Burned man recovering in hospital

The 43-year-old man who sustained serious burn wounds yesterday morning (Sunday) in Gazza Place is in a stable condition in hospital.

It is alleged that the man suffered a fit / seizure while carrying a kettle full of boiling water. Sharaj Ambulance Services responded and treated the man, who was in a great deal of agony.

He was seriously dehydrated and his pressure was dropping fast. Sharaj medics stabilised the man and then transported him to hospital.

The 43-year-old sustained second degree thermal burns to 25% of his body. He is currently recovering well in hospital.
