Another burglary hits Glencoe

A fifth burglary in a span of three weeks has left residents of Glencoe panic-stricken.

A fifth burglary in a span of three weeks has left residents of Glencoe panic-stricken. This burglary occurred on Schroeders Road during the early hours of the morning of April 22.
The house was completely ransacked. The perpetrators left no stone unturned as they went from room to room looking for items to steal. An undisclosed amount of money, tools, clothes, shoes, jewellery, dinner sets, duvets and curtains were stolen. Toothpaste, ten toilet rolls and even underwear and a kettle cord were stolen as well. It also appears as if they not only ransacked the distraught owner’s house but also gathered in her lounge to ‘visit’: the ‘fallen-down chair backs and crumpled sofas’ verified this.
She believes they were discussing how to remove the bigger appliances.
The owner is reeling with shock, and has been left disgruntled and dismayed: “I am still in shock; every day I notice something else that’s missing. I can’t help but sit and cry.” Police are investigating the matter further.
