Home invasion, family held at gunpoint

Despite being beaten in the attack, no one was seriously injured

Two armed men stormed into a house in Ruby Gailey Drive on Saturday (April 19) night.
When the robbers entered the house, they showed the occupants their guns. One of them even removed a magazine so that they could see the gun had real bullets. They held the family hostage while they ransacked the house.
Despite being beaten in the attack, no one was seriously injured.
The robbers took an unknown amount of cash, small electronic items and jewellery, as well as bank cards.
They tied up the family members before taking a vehicle, a silver Toyota Fortuner with registration NKR 39176.
The vehicle was recovered several roads away from White Road near the Town Pool.
While other houses were robbed over the weekend, this was the only one in which the thugs actually entered the home while the occupants were on the premises.

No arrests have been made
