Rotary nurtures a culture of reading and education

To date the Estcourt Rotary Club has handed thousands of dictionaries to schools in the district and also as far afield as Lesotho

The Estcourt Rotary Club handed 60 dictionaries to Estcourt High School at a special assembly held in the school hall. In his address to the assembly Rotary Club President Peter Buys emphasised the importance of reading and education for the advancement of the future of learners.

He applauded the school for being a centre of education excellence and wished the assembly good luck for the exams. The Principal Mr Dave Diedrick, received the dictionaries on behalf of the school.
To date the Estcourt Rotary Club has handed thousands of dictionaries to schools in the district and also as far afield as Lesotho. This project is sponsored by Masonite South Africa.
