Emma was awarded the subject prize for music, while also having achieved 90 percent for her IEB grade eight piano exam. She was also awarded Honours for choir and half colours for academics.

During 2014 Emma was House Captain of Moore House and Vice-Captain of canoeing at the school and holds colours for Canoe Polo, Choir and Academics. In grade 11 she was awarded the Morelle Phipson Endeavour Trophy, voted for by the school.

Jessica Winter was the star of the evening at the prizegiving, being awarded the subject prizes for English, AP English, Afrikaans, French, Physical Science and Life Science. The evening’s highlight however, was the awarding of DUX of the school, the ultimate achievement for a very well deserving recipient!

Jessica has worked extremely hard and has always remained humble despite excellence across the board.
She was awarded honours for academics two years in a row and will be going on to study Civil Engineering at Stellenbosch University next year. We congratulate her and all the matrics who have achieved this year, and wish them well in their future endeavours!
