Agricultural project finds its roots

This project will supply fresh vegetables all year round and will supply the Estcourt Hospital and surrounding schools

The Ikhwezi-Elisha Community Project is an ideological movement for a small yet fast growing, developing and improving community for the Estcourt/Ikhwezi town.

The project is an idea founded by Thamisanqa Nkululeko Kheswa, who will be working hand-in-hand with his younger brother Lwazi Nhlakanipho Kheswa, for the upliftment of the community. They have just received confirmation and signed documents from Umtshezi Municipality declaring that the space between Khwezi and Fort Durnford can now be used for an agricultural project. This will not only uplift the community but the entire town. This project will supply fresh vegetables all year round and will supply the Estcourt Hospital and surrounding schools, including the new day care facilities as well as the sick and elderly with organic, non-modified vegetation using old-school small farming methods i.e reusable seeds.

Currently the project does not require any funding but the brothers urgently need to erect a fence around the land for security purposes as well as tools to receive water. If you can help contact Lwazi on 084 557 0008 or Thami on 076 251 5943.
