Bruntville CHC moving health care closer to farming communities

The KwaZulu-Natal Health: Bruntville Community Health Center (CMC) and the Mooi River Farmers Association on Monday, August 4 held a stakeholders meeting.
The meeting was planned so that the Health Department in KZN can negotiate planned visits to the farming communities because ‘a healthy employee is a productive employee.’
Richard Adamson Chairman of the Mooi River Farmers Association (MRFA) welcomed the health team.
“The department is looking forward to a long and healthy relationship with the farming community,” said Manager for Bruntville CHC Ntombintombi Hlatshwayo.
Members of the MRFA later were screened for BP, HCT, glucose levels and cholesterol on the day.
