With reference to the letter by ‘Observant Ratepayer’ in last week’s paper, I also took photos of what I had originally thought were statues placed on both sides of Harry Miller Road.
The five on each side of the road had been there for two days so I decided to take a photo and send it to my friend who resides overseas to show him what an innovative idea our council has come up with to beautify our town.
On taking my camera out, the pigeons took off, as the statues holding shovels and cell phones came to life!
When I see the waste of our ratepayer’s money in that way, I see no rainbow, I see red!
