Residents who may have witnessed or know of information relating to a shooting in Depot Section, Wembezi are urged to divulge this to police.
28-year-old Manqoba Khanyile was shot and wounded shortly after midnight on Sunday, November 24.
His family rushed him to hospital when he became unresponsive and according to information given to the police, he sustained a gunshot wound to his right thigh. Contact the Wembezi Detectives on 036 353 0100 if you have any information about this incident.
Police are offering a reward to anyone who has information that could help them arrest and convict the perpetrators. The motive for the shooting is unknown at this stage.
