Thank you for our spiritual freedom during lockdown

We would like to thank the president and authorities in South Africa on behalf of Sotho people and other tribes. I am thankful that now we are able to proceed with our rituals, because they mean so much to us.

Thank you for making sure that, as tribes are all different in SA, we are fully protected like other religions during lockdown.

Since last week, Sothos in Nquthu have started to practice their rituals for the first time since lockdown.
We gained our freedom back on this level and we appreciate that because, without certain rituals and functions, our lives have no spiritual support – which is important for every living person.

Thanks also to Inkosi Molefe and the Molefe Tribal Authority for standing up for their people and making sure we live as normal a life as possible.
