A battle of pride for Dundee Junior School athletes

At the end of the week, it was Mpati House which walked away with the winning trophy.

Dundee Junior School (DJS) had tons of fun at its annual Athletics Days recently.

The DJS houses – Tangeni, Indumeni, Mpati and Talana – battled it out on the field. Good competition, sportsmanship and a whole day of laughter was what all the learners, teachers and parents witnessed.

DJS is proud of Siphosethu Ndawo, who bettered the record in the under-12 boys’ discus event.

Congratulations to the following learners:
Junior Victrix Ludorum – Ziyanda Thungo, Junior Victor Ludorum – Justin Duvenage, Senior Victrix Ludorum – Thandolwethu Buthelezi. Senior Victor Ludorum – Siphosethu Ndawo.

At the end of the week, it was Mpati which walked away with the winning trophy. Tangeni showed Dundee it had the most spirit, singing songs and cheering its athletes along.
