A busy week at DHS: The beginning of the first term is always a whirlwind to be reckoned with. On January 28, DHS had its annual gala. It was a fun afternoon, with many parents from Ichthus and Uelzen joining in on the fun, as their little ones also took part in the mini-gala for juniors. There was a lot of interest and the two Meintjes siblings dominated each heat in their respective age groups, breaking a few records with ease!

The school thanks everyone who participated and for the wonderful support received on the day. A special mention goes to Mr Ayob (DHS’ sports coordinator), for organising the event and for working relentlessly to ensure a smooth and successful day.

DHS Colour Festival: January 30 was the beginning of the end of orientation for the new DHS Grade Eight learners, where they were officially seen as part of the DHS family. The colour festival is DHS’s celebration of unity and a joyful afternoon filled with amazing spirit.
