Uelzen Primary reflects on an eventful year

Uelzen Primary School concluded a successful and eventful year with its senior phase prize-giving.

Uelzen Primary School concluded a successful and eventful year, by holding a senior phase prize-giving last Thursday.

The year saw Marelie Bruyns appointed Principal from the start of Term Two, following the retirement of acting Principal, Ingrid van Staden.

Learners from various grades have enjoyed exciting and educational excursions, while 2019 also saw Uelzen hold its first Oktoberfest fundraiser in collaboration with the Blarney Brothers.

A motorcycle endurance event was also held in November, and is anticipated to become an annual event.
