Congratulations to Ichthus Christian School’s Grade 3 learners, Izibongo Phakathi, Khwezi Kheswa and Chris Mumpi, on their athletics achievements in 2019.
From September 20 to 21, they all participated in Sasolburg and received their SACSSA (Southern African Christian School’s Sports Association) colours and qualified for the Sub-Youth Inter Provincial Athletics Team.
On November 23, they participated at the DP de Villiers Stadium in Sasolburg against the best in the country. They performed well and Izibongo Phakathi received a bronze medal in turbo javelin.
Ichthus is very proud of its athletes, and thanked the coaches who assisted the athletes.
