Monday marred by multiple traffic incidents
SAPS officials cautioned pedestrians to not cross the road, except at designated crossing points.
A pedestrian was reportedly struck by a vehicle, while crossing Victoria Street at a red traffic signal yesterday (Monday).
According to police sources, the pedestrian had to be transported to hospital for treatment.
In a second incident, a pedestrian was knocked down at the corner of Browning and Victoria Streets while crossing the road. SAPS officials said he suffered injuries to the head and spine, as well as a fractured leg.
A vehicle then reportedly overturned on the Dundee/ Helpmekaar road near Hlalanathi. No injuries were reported.
