When it rains, it pours in Dannhauser

Dannhauser recorded a whopping 95 millimetres of rainfall over two days.

After a prolonged period of drought in Northern KwaZulu-Natal, residents rejoiced when the heavens opened and the rain fell.

While Dundee had 35 to 40 millimetres of rain measured over two days, Dannhauser measured a whopping 95 millimetres of rainfall over two days.

Fields were turned into rivers in Dannhauser as the heavens opened and the rain fell.

Parts of the town were left underwater as the parched grounds welcomed the wet weather.
