A welcome drop in temperature is on the cards

Endumeni has been sweltering over the past week... but relief is around the corner

Sweltering residents can look forward to a welcome cool down tomorrow. Temperatures in excess of 34 degrees have sent many scurrying into the shade as the summer heat turns up.

The lack of rain – that has forced Umzinyathi District Municipality to implement severe water shedding measures – is compounding what many find to be unbearable conditions.

The good news for many is that things cool off on Friday when the maximum temperature is expected to peak at 20 degrees.

Showers delivering around 5mm of rain are expected. Thing warm up slightly on Saturday with a maximum temperature of 24 degrees predicated with cloud cover. On Sunday, the weatherman expects the mercury to reach 27 degrees and there is a chance of thunder showers.
