Three learners from Ichthus Christian School participated at the KwaZulu-Natal Athletics Sub-Youth Championships, held at the Kings Park Stadium, Durban on October 12.
Ichthus congratulated Izibongo Phakathi, Chris Mumpi and Khwezi Kheswa on their performances. The results are as follows:
Under-9:
Izibongo Phakathi – third in turbo javelin; fifth in 80-metre event.
Chris Mumpi – fifth in 600m; seventh in 80m.
Khwezi Kheswa – seventh in turbo javelin.
The school is very proud of its athletes and thanks all the coaches who assisted the athletes.
