On September 4, Sarel Cilliers’ u-15s played against the Pionier u-15s at home.
Sarel Cilliers batted first and managed 100 all out in its 20 overs, thanks in part to 20 runs from Jarren Theron and 12 runs from Sheldon Grondein. Pionier made a small target look very big however.
Its team managed to reach the total in the penultimate over, thereby winning the encounter by four wickets. Sarel Cilliers’ best bowlers were Hanro van Zyl with two for eight in four overs, and Jarren Theron with one for 12 in four overs.
