R33 Dundee/Greytown road open again

Motorists report that the area is now clear after service delivery protests which flare up this morning.

The R33 between Dundee and Greytown is open again to motorists, following this morning’s protest action.

Earlier in the day, the road was unusable due to rocks and stones strewn across the surface. Motorists have reported although there are still some rocks on the road, protesters appear to have dispersed, this it is deemed safe to use the route.

Numerous roads have been closed almost every morning in the area surrounding Dundee recently, due to service delivery protests.
