Women’s Day celebrated in style at Dundee Junior

The girls were reminded why Women's Day is celebrated and why women should look out for each other and treat one another with respect, instead of fighting and downgrading each other.

The girls and women of Dundee Junior School, together with several other women from the community, celebrated Women’s Day in style on August 8.
It was a fun-filled morning at school, where everyone received inspirational messages from Ms Robson, Mr Maree and head girl, Anele Mchunu.

The girls were reminded why Women’s Day is celebrated and why women should look out for each other and treat one another with respect, instead of fighting and downgrading each other.
As always, the lucky draws were one of the highlights of the morning and caused lots of excitement.
“Ons wil graag die borge bedank vir hulle aandeel in die dag se sukses. Thank you to the DJS Women’s Day committee, which made it a very successful event.”
